In the period of November 21-25, 2022, Bolatova Aiym Kayratkyzy, a 1st-year master's student of the educational program: training of foreign language teachers and a 4th-year bachelor's student Meruert Niyazova, an educational program: international relations took part in the 1st short program on Local Culture, Science and Technology (Local Culture, Science, and Technology- LOCUST) 2022, which was conducted virtually by the Faculty of Industrial Technologies of the Sultan Agung Islamic University of Indonesia (UNISSULA). A total of 70 students from seven countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Bangladesh, India, Afghanistan and Kazakhstan) participated in the program.
During the program, various competitions were held, such as: the best participant of the short course, the best speaker of presentations, the best presentation and the best cultural video of the country. Graduate student Ayim Bolatova received an award for the best participant of the program. Only 3 students out of 70 people were awarded this title. Also, Ayim Bolatova and Meruert Niyazova won the nomination for the best cultural video of the country (The Best Cultural Exhibition). 5 videos from 5 countries participated in the competition. ENU students received incredible emotions from this program and were glad to participate in it.
