Magic English for students of the Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages

On February 23, 2018, 3rd year students of the Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages and their curators held a literary evening in English "Magic English".

The main purpose of such educational activities is the development in students of joint teamwork, corporate spirit, when five groups of the third year and their curators prepare one major event with a large unified team 

 The literary evening was devoted to the work of five great English writers of the past centuries, where students  demonstrated presentations on their work and read poetries by heart: Thomas More (presentation and short film about the writer from group FL-31 and  their curator Narmukhametova NM), Jack London (presentation and video from the group FL-32 and their curator Beisenbaeva L.Zh.), Oskar Wild (presentation and poems from group FL-33 and  their curator Anasheva DK), William Blake (presentation and poem from group FL-35 and  their curator Nurzhanova Zh.D.), William Shakespeare  (presentation and sonnets from group FL-37 and  their curator Niyazova A.E)

Particular interest  arose  the video interview on English writers, which was conducted by Saken Karakozov among the students of ENU, and the results of this reportage. 

The closing stage was the speech by the head of the department Beisembaeva Zh.A., who read the assembled students  130th sonnet of  W. Shakespeare in English and Russian. Senior curator of the department Isayev S.I  handed each of the five groups and their curators letters of thanks for active participation in the social and educational activities of the Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages.
