Lectures of Visiting Professor

On September 18, 2020, according to the Strategic Plan for the Development of the Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages ​​and the Operational Plan for the Development of International Cooperation, lectures by a visiting professor from Bulgaria, PhD Doctor, Dean of the Faculty of Classical and Modern Philology, Sofia University named after St. Kliment Ohridski, specialist in foreign language education Madeleine Danova. The professor will give two lecture courses for 2nd year undergraduates of the educational program "7M01719 - Foreign language: two foreign languages". These are courses such as "Formation of a multicultural linguistic personality" and "Innovative methods of teaching foreign languages". The lectures of the foreign professor will last until the beginning of December, when the undergraduates will take the final exams.

Cooperation of the Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages ​​with Professor Madeleine Danova began in July 2019, when members of the faculty of the department visited Sofia University to improve their qualifications. Professor M. Danova gave lectures on inverted learning and intercultural communication. It was then that it was decided to invite a professor to lecture on innovative methods in foreign language education for undergraduates of the university.
