A round table "Uly Dala-Tauelsiz El” dedicated the Independence Day

On 1st December, 2022 at 11.00 in the building of the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering senior teachers of Foreign Languages Department ​​Zhusupova G.M., Nurbekova G.Zh organized an event dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Uly Dala-Tauelsiz El”. The event was held in the format of a round table, which was attended by 1st year students of the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering, specialties “Industrial Civil Engineering”, “Production of building materials, products and structures”, as well as invited teachers Nurgalieva U.S., Khamitova A.G., Kurmanaeva D.K., Usstelimova N.A.

The purpose of this event was to strengthen the statehood, the unity of the people of Kazakhstan and the consolidation of society around the basic values, which are based on independence, stability, peace and harmony. As well as the formation among the participants of the round table of a sense of civic responsibility, civic duty to their country, readiness and ability to serve the interests of the Motherland.

A participant of the December events, a senior lecturer of the department Khamitova Ardak Gazizovna, spoke to the students. She told how it all happened back in 1986. They are first-year students without suspecting anything came to the square to support our youth. They thought it would be a peaceful dialogue. But it turned out not to be so. Many of her classmates suffered, many were convicted, many were expelled from the institute, someone did not return from this square. Her classmate was injured and remained disabled for life.

 December 16 was declared as the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan in memory of the December events of 1986.

The students who participated in the dialogue expressed their pride in their country, love for their native land and prepared a small concert.

 

Patriotism can be seen in the achievements of one's country, the desire to preserve its cultural characteristics, as well as the desire to protect the interests of the Motherland and its people.
