On October 31 at 11:00 in the framework of pedagogical practice, under the guidance of the Associate Professor of the Department of Kazakh Linguistics of the Philological Faculty of the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov G. B. Mamaeva, a student of the specialty "7M01717 - Kazakh language and literature" Abutulip A.E. spent an honest hour on the topic “Corruption is an epidemic, its eradication is a duty” in an online format for 1st year students of the specialty “Philology: Kazakh language”.
The educational hour was held with the aim of explaining the consequences of corruption, familiarizing with anti-corruption legislation and creating an anti-corruption culture among young people. Dean of the Faculty of Philology A.B. Beisenbai said that in anti-corruption education and upbringing, students should receive a clean education and be honest and patriotic citizens of the country. Head of the Department for Work with Youth of the Department of Social and Civil Development of the University Zh.A. Tlepov, senior lecturer of the Department of Theory and Practice of Translation B.M. Dzhabasheva, Associate Professor of the Department of Kazakh Linguistics S.S. Shokabayeva, as well as undergraduates and doctoral students of the department expressed their opinion about the anti-corruption civic position. Freshmen also read poems on this topic, answered situational questions and noted that the fight against corruption is a common cause for all of us, it is the task of every citizen.
