Concert program with invited professors

On May 12, 2018, students of the first and third year of the Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages and their curators (Narmukhametova N.M, Konkal M.) prepared and conducted a concert program "Multicultural and Multilingual Kazakhstan" for department  teachers  and invited professors Stephanie Schwerter and Jean Charles Meunier from the University of Valenciennes (France), who came to the philological faculty  on the program Erasmus + for the period from 02 to 16 May this year for lecturing bachelor students.

The concert program included Kazakh, Uzbek, Azerbaijani, Georgian folk dances and songs. The students prepared presentations on each of these cultures, where they managed to visually demonstrate Kazakhstan as a country where representatives of more than 130 ethnic groups live peacefully. Concert program was conducted in three languages ​​- Kazakh, Russian, English. It  emphasized the unity of the languages ​​of our country.


A special number of the concert program was the live performance of the song in French "Je T'Aime" by the third-year student Natalya Demenkova and the song in the Kazakh language "Rizamyn" by the 1st year student Toktasynova Nazerke. At the end of the concert program, students invited foreign guests to take part in the joint performance of the song "We wish you happiness" in Russian. 

Head of the Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages ​​Beisembaeva Zh.A  thanked the responsible teachers and students for the high level of the organization of the concert program and announced to the students the news that in the next academic year the Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages ​​has the opportunity to send 3 students to the University of Valenciennes on  Erasmus + program  for one semester to study the disciplines  in English and French.
