Undergraduate Research Internship in Romania

From October 21 to November 1, 2019, second-year Master students of the educational program Myrzakalieva Marhabat, Mazimova Aidana, Usipashim Saniya, Yntyma Kusar, Trebay Gulfayruz, Umirhamza Kumisay, Kudiyarova Ulzhan, Bakhtiyarova Madina, Sagat Zhansaya spent their research intership at University of "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" Iasi, Romania.

University of "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" Iasi, Romania was founded in 1860 and is based in Iasi. The university is a prestigious institution at the national and international level, with more than 38,000 students studying in 15 faculties.

During the internship, Master students met with university teachers and conducted excursions to the university and the university museum. They also worked in the university library, reading rooms and electronic resources. The library has an extensive database of scientific dissertations in the library, the ability to use sources of literature on modern methods of teaching foreign languages.

Master students attended classes by professors of the English language Rodica Albu and Anca Cehan at the Alexander Kuza University in Iasi, and told Romanian students about Kazakhstan, Kazakh culture and language, as well as about our university. Undergraduates participated in lectures and practical exercises of Professor Rodica Albu in the discipline "Research Methods in Teaching English" and the academic course of Professor Rodica Albu "Learning Strategies in Teaching English" in the discipline "General and Applied Linguistics".
