November 23, 2019, at the Faculty of Philology of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University a workshop: “A competent resume is a key to success in finding a job / professional skills in a resume” was held.
Dean of the Faculty of Philology Beisenbay A.B. began the seminar and noted that its main direction is an open dialogue with 2020 graduates on the subject employment of a young specialist.
In her greeting, the chief specialist of the career and business partnership department, the head of the practice of the university Kilibaeva U.K. emphasized that the professional practice that graduates have to go through is the opportunity to gain professional experience and get the opportunity for further employment.
Within the framework of the seminar, graduates of the Faculty of Philology (2012) Kargashev K.Rasul, the Head of the General Education Department at the Higher Humanitarian School of N. Narikbaev KazGUU and Sarmanova S. Zhanar, the head of “Astana Interpreters” IE, a simultaneous interpreter said how to choose the right employer, correctly compose a resume and make a favourable impression on the interview, as well as receive answers to all questions from HR specialists, and adjust your resume.
The guests of the seminar Sariyeva S. Galiya, Deputy Director for Academic Affairs of Secondary School 57 and Bashirov K. Nurbol, Kazakh language and literature teacher at Abay Kunanbayev School 87 spoke about the importance of professional practice and the establishment of direct contact with the university. Bashirov Nurbol, a graduate of the Faculty of Philology, recommended that considerable time should be devoted to the methods of teaching the Kazakh language and literature.
Students, in turn, wished that the content of educational programms was practice-oriented.
