Ethnicities living in peace in Kazakhstan

On the 11th of December 2018, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages ​​Kozhakanova M. T. organized a seminar on "Ethnicities living in peace in Kazakhstan" for the 3rd year students majoring in "Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages". The head of the department Beisembayeva Zh. A. and other teachers of the department Doszhan G. A., Isayev S. I. and Beisenbayeva L. Y. attended the event. Topicality of the theme was revealed at the event. The history of the arrival of other ethnic groups to Kazakhstan, the current conditions of these ethnic groups and their contribution to economic and political development of the country were talked in depth. The participants of the events also talked about the great achievements of the country in the field of sports, art and education and the contribution of the non-Kazakh ethnic groups to the mentioned fields were praised. More information about the reasons of political deprivation, political repression, suppression, national tragedy, living conditions and the liberty to return to their homeland during the 1930s and 1950s were talked to the students by the teachers. Students were also got acquainted with the history of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, its history, and structure. During the event, students shared their opinions and participated in quiz questions and discussions. The event was interesting and informative.
