The head of the Training Department of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University Kulmanov Kuandyk Sandybekuly and the curator of group DB-1 Duisengazin Dulat Maksutuly during the reporting period April,14 – April,20 2019, conducted communications work in the Republic of Uzbekistan in order to invite our compatriots - ethnic Kazakhs - to study in ENU.
The foreign students were informed about L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University and got a wide range of information about the Training Department. It has been functioning in ENU for two years already.
During the visit, Kulmanov K. and Duisengazin D. met with Serikbay Usenov, the Chairman of the Kazakh National Cultural Center in Tashkent and Pernev Erbolat Zharilkapuly, the Deputy Chairman of the Kazakh Cultural Center of Bostandyk District. They held numerous meetings in the most concentrated districts and villages where the Kazakhs live.
In particular, we held a meeting with the 11th grade pupils and the staff of the school led by Anarbekov Kanybek Elesuly, the director of the comprehensive secondary school № 26 of Domalak Ana village, Bostandyk district, Tashkent region.
During the meeting the director of the Kazakh school № 1 in the city of Gazalkent Anarbekov Tynyshbek Elesuly , the director of Kyzylsu village secondary school № 14 of Bostandyk, district Tashkent region, Gulshihra Altynbekkyzy Anarbaeva and the 10-11th grades schoolchildren were informed about the rules and procedures for the admission to the Training Department of ENU. In addition, the booklets about the Training Department were distributed to all graduates of all schools and colleges.
Tairov Atken Ashimuly, the director of the Kazakh secondary school №35 located in the village of Seksen Ata, Upper Shirshyk district, Tashkent region; Bakirova Shyngyul Makalbayevna, the director of the Kazakh secondary school №17 located in the village of Korsai; Shyndalieva Gulayim Lamkadirkyzy, the director of the Kazakh school № 22 of Zhambyl village, Upper Shirshyk district, Tashkent region;
Tuymekulova Gulzada Satybaldykyzy, the director of the Kazakh secondary school № 1 in of Seksen Ata village; Zhetibaev Kairolla Makhambetuly, the director of the Kazakh secondary school №28 in Tashtogyzak village and the director of the Kazakh secondary school № 27 Kenzhegul Bekenkyzy Sutenova of Karatukym village provided the support for meeting with the children.
During the meeting the foreign learners received all answers about the admission to L.N.Gumilev Eurasian National University .
At the meeting, the partners exchanged their views on the positive dynamics of the cooperation in the field of education between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Uzbekistan. In addition, the rules of admission to higher education institutions in Kazakhstan were explained in detail.
47 students were trained in the Training Department in the 2017-2018 academic year, while in the 2018-2019 academic year 193 learners are enrolled. According to our program, it is planned to increase the number of foreign learners in the 2019-2020 academic year. In this regard, the purposeful work is being carried out and communications work is underway in the Training Department.
Every year the number of students arriving to their homeland is increasing, and as we have noticed, the majority of young people are dreaming to enter L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
