On November 28, our group STR-17 (together with the Russian language teacher G.R. Rakhimzhanova) visited the Museum of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - the President N.A. Nazarbayev.
Through a sightseeing tour we were able to visually get acquainted with the life and activities of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. We listened with great attention to the interesting and informative story of the guide about the stages of life and activities of the Head of State, considering personal documents: report cards, certificates, badge pass, certificates of honor, praise sheets, mandates, deputy cards, several parents' documents and information about native lands.
The main idea, captured in the exhibits, is the establishment of the state sovereignty of the republic and the historical role of its First President N.A. Nazarbayev in the construction of an independent democratic state.
It was impossible to look away from books with the donations to N.A. Nazarbayev in different years, as well as from publications from the personal (home) library, which our President has collected since the 1960s.
Also in the funds of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy printed and electronic publications and exhibits from the personal collection of N. Nazarbayevare collected: gifts from heads of state and their official representatives, articles of art and historical curiosities. We even wanted to touch and play unique handmade chess.
We, future civil engineers, were interested to learn, that this unique building was built 5 years ago, that its area is 30 thousand.sq.meters, that 9 - storey building made in the form of a sphere. The layout of the master plan for the construction of Astana was of particular interest.
Each resident of Astana has the opportunity to visit not only excursions, but also to become a reader of this library.
