On April 12, 2019, the Department of theory and practice of foreign languages took part in the XIV International scientific conference of students and young scientists "Science and education-2019" and heard presentations of students and undergraduates at the section "Innovative technologies in professional training of young people in the system of foreign language education". 67 participants took part in the section. The members of board worked are the following : chairman: Beisembayeva Zh. A. – head of department, candidate of philological sciences., Gauriyeva G. M. – candidate of ped.sciences, Professor, Anasheva D. K. – senior lecturer, secretary - Assanova A. Ye , MA in pedagogy, senior lecturer.
37 speakers delivered and discussed the reports during the work of the section. All reports were presented in the form of presentations, which have practical and theoretical significance. The topics of the presentation were closely related to the scientific direction of the department, namely the methodology of teaching a foreign language, language theory, and linguistic features of the English language. All topics were relevant and presented a huge challenge for the board in choosing the best reports. However, 9 presentations were highlighted and awarded first, second and third degree diplomas. The presentations were held in heated discussions where a large number of issues were raised. Each student expressed her opinion on a particular issue, students offered their solutions in the field of methods of teaching foreign languages. The topics of the reports were of great interest and benefit for young teachers in the future.
