The first-year student of the Translation Theory and Practice Department Rakhimbayev Raisa took part in the media or literacy championship “True or False”, which was held in the capital with the public development department support of Nur-Sultan city.
Raisa actively participated in the training and successfully passed the test. Eight team members competed in the knowledge gained during the Critical Thinking School. Within the framework of the championship such famous journalists as Aykerim Yesenuli, Mahabbat Yesen, Mukhammedali Bolatuli, Tleukenov Arman, etc. made a speech in the TED format. Competitions were held in the format of the Brain Ring. Participants measured knowledge on such topics as fact-checking, fake news, propaganda, information hygiene, etc.
Rakhimbayeva Raisa was a member of the Winners team, which took 1st place. The winners were awarded diplomas, monetary certificates, and special prizes.
