Foreign Languages Department of the Faculty of Philology holds the 3rd International Gumilyov Online English Olympiad among 1-2 year students of non-linguistic specialties of higher educational institutions.
The purpose of the Olympiad: to identify speaking skills of students on the topic "Language in the modern world".
The 3rd International Gumilyov Online English Olympiad is held on April 15, 2023 in Google Meet online platform. From each higher educational institution up to 5 students who have scored the most points in the intra-university Olympiad are invited to participate.
To participate in the Olympiad, it is necessary to fill out the application of the participant and send it to the email address of the Organizing Committee of the Olympiad: olympiad.enu.2017@mail.ru until April 8, 2023.
I (qualifying) round of the 3rd International Gumilyov Olympiad is held on April 15, 2023 at 9.00 Moscow time and at 12.00 - Astana and consists of two parts:
- Listening and Reading
According to the results of the first round, the participants with the maximum number of points go to the final.
II (final) round consists of performing an oral task on the topic "Language in the modern world"
- speaking
All participants of the 2nd round of the International Olympiad will receive certificates, and the winners will receive diplomas of I-III degrees for 1-3 places. Certificates and diplomas will be sent by email.
