On September 5, 2020 Students of the Philological Faculty of the Department of Kazakh Linguistics of the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov held an online webinar "The fate of the language - the fate of the country" dedicated to the Day of the languages .
The event began with a welcoming speech by the head of the department of Kazakh linguistics, Malikov K.T. The online webinar was attended by: Docent of the Department of Practical Kazakh Language A.R. Naimanbai, senior curator of the Department of Theory and Practice of Translation B.M. Zhabasheva, specialist of the department of social and civil issues T. Nasikhatkyzy, as well as undergraduates and doctoral students.
Conference was organized by advisor of 1st year students G.B. Mamaeva. It was opened by the 1st year student of the specialty of Kazakh philology B. Kulshar. During the event, students performed kyuis and read poems of such great poets as Abay, Sh. Kudaiberdiuly, M. Makatayev, K. Myrza Ali.
