On October 23, 2020, at the FL theory and practice department under the leadership of the head of the "Students' club of foreign languages" Anasheva D.K. and members of the club, the online meeting was held with the participation of the 1st year students and foreign teachers August Garnsey and Israel Beyene Mogis. The students were introduced with the club's working plan for the new academic year, with its aims and objectives, the direction of its activity. The speech of August Garnsey was listened to with great interest by the 1st year students, which is a crucial factor in learning English, namely the development of listening skills. The 4th year students Tuniyazova Evelina, Kanatova Zhuldyz, Nurgali Adisa, Isabek Ayerke, who successfully completed their studies under the program of academic mobility in the Czech Republic, Poland, and the USA, made a motivational speech. They shared their impressions with students about studying at foreign universities, about huge opportunities for improving the English language. This meeting took place in a friendly ambience and evoked great interest among the freshmen.
