The Russian Philology Department held an online event for the 29th anniversary of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan with 1st-year students of the Philological and Economic faculties studying Russian.
Senior lecturer of the Department of Russian Philology Azkenova Zh. K. she spoke about the purpose of this event-the formation of the moral and patriotic spirit of young people, emphasized the epigraph of the words of Elbasy, the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan «To be a patriot of the Motherland means to carry Kazakhstan in your heart», quoted the head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev: «... Our country has gained international recognition, built an effective management system and a strong economy», told that one of the authors of the herb - Zhandarbek Malibekov, poets and aityskers work at our university - Zhanat Askerbekkyzy, Serikzat Duysengazin, Kalkaman Sarin and others said that this year our university celebrates the 25th anniversary of its establishment.
During the event, students prepared a presentation about the most important national holiday of the country, its symbols and top main facts of the state's development.
Students read poems in Kazakh, Russian and English, prepared videos about our country.
